Eudocimus albus
Short bird about the size of a snowy or cattle egret, but neck is not as long. The other noticeable feature is their long orange sickle shaped bill. Legs are also orange. Adults are white, but juveniles are varying shades of brown and white. The other ibis species in Florida is the Glossy- in contrast it is all black.
Tidal Wetlands, or nearby areas such as roadside grassy patches. Common Florida species, can be seen just about anywhere really, but prefers tidal wetlands.
Same pool of birds near Merritt Island, that contains other herons, ibises, egrets, storks and spoonbills.
