Virgin Tiger Moth

Grammia virgo Linnaeus

Notes:

We found the cocoon wrapped in leaves on April 5th and brought it home to see what it would become. It emerged on April 18th and we were finally able to see what the chrysalis looked like. The next day it began laying eggs. When it was finished it flew away.
