Spotting

Description:

I saw many, many of these small dragonflies patrolling around Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park this weekend. I can see that they're baskettails, but I'm not 100% certain as to whether they're slender (Epitheca costalis) or common (Epitheca cynosura). They certainly do dip in at the "waist" like slender baskettails, but beyond that I'm not sure.

Habitat:

Flying low over lawns and meadows, occasionally perching on tall plants.
