Seen at the last home for Asiatic Lion, Sasan Gir National Park.
This was the first time when I Saw the majestic Asiatic Lion face to face. In the cold winter morning, when this majestic fellow came walking towards us, I was ready with my camera and had checked and rechecked all settings. This fellow came walking towards us in his own stride and when I saw him face to face I forgot everything, it was as though time had frozen and I was mesmerised with his beauty. I did not click any pics of the head on, instead just kept my cam aside and enjoyed the beautiful view that I was blessed with. I will never forget that moment in my life. Thanks Hema :-)
What i like about the picture is how clearly I can see the foot print of the is lion. The padding on his back foot looks amazing.
