Tenodera sinensis
It is definitely a praying mantis egg sack. It is about 1.75 inches long and 1 inch wide and they usually hold about 150-300 baby mantises. THEY WILL EAT EACH OTHER IF THERE IS NO ROOM IN THEIR CAGE
