Reddish-brown, segmented, tube-shaped organism. Underside lighter. Small, bristly hairs on body to help move through soil. Hermaphroditic. Produces a lubricating slime to protect the body.


Suburban backyard, under debris. Moist soil.


This one had some beautiful iridescence. It was quite large compared to the rest of the Earthworms I have seen.
