Found this poor creature stuck in the mud. It seems healthy, but is there anyone who can tell me what I can feed it. I've already tried nectar, and given it bugs for protein. Thanks.

Finally he decided to fly away with his mother :')
I'll miss him.
He's alright now. We found that the mother still cares for him. The mother hasn't been able to fly him back to the nest but we are still taking care of him.
It's nice to know that he will be safe :)
They eat a lot.... Also call a bird rescue

Try to google baby hummingbird on youtube... Theres a video of a guy who had to feed one and teach it to fly.. It was so cute. But you can see how he was feeding it
