Spotting

Description:

black leaves with pink viens

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

One of the most attractive foliage plants I've ever seen. I would love to get this into cultivation! They were fairly rare and hard to see. You could easily miss one of these but I tried to keep my eyes out for them. None of the ones I saw were any larger than these leaves. Many leaves were small and damaged. I saw them in areas of flooded forest so they must go into a dormancy while they are submerged for up to 4 months.
