Project Noah Nature School
Accipiter cooperii
It was on a pine tree branch, it stayed there for a long time.
Pine forest in Zion National Park
Thank you Joshua Asel and Ali Hemati . I was using a 300 mm lens but I was standing only 15 feet ( 5 m) away from it. I guess it knew it was a National Park and nobody wanted to hurt it.
Very Nice...
great shots man! what mm lens are you using?
Now thanks to Ava T-B it has the correct ID.
Thank you Gerardo. Thank you Ava for the correction, I'll look into it.
I think this is a Cooper's Hawk or a Sharp-shinned Hawk. It's not a Peregrine
Ecxelente :)
