Neat...I had a feeling that might be the case. I just clicked on your sitings after looking at this pic and the hands in the pictures just jumped out at me! Keep up the good work and turn on those students!

Hi ceherzog,
I am indeed a biologist and I have a herp handling permit (which is required in my state - Virginia). I am working on my master's, specializing in amphibian and reptile conservation. I also teach on field trips for college students and work as a field interpreter for 7th graders so I spend a lot of time picking up animals to show them to other people. When I have them in my hand I usually end up snapping a couple of photos with my phone - otherwise they tend to run off before I get a picture!

Nice pictures...when I look at your pictures, almost all of them have animals in your hands! Just wondering why? Are you a biologist?
