Margined blister beetle

Epicauta funebris

Description:

Black and white beetle roughly the shape of a Big Dipper Lightling bug bug slightly larger...

Habitat:

Edges rural yard

Notes:

Found the ID of this beetle after much searching... turns out that it’s a bug that I’m best to eliminate from my yard when encountered because it secretes a chemical that causes blisters on human skin when harassed or crushed
