Description:

A bright blue speckled weevil on silver wattle.

Habitat:

Found on Silver wattle on a country roadside.

Notes:

This is the first insect described by the crew of Captain Cook when they visited the site of (not yet settled) Sydney. This specimen common in NSW. but widespread on the southeast coast of Australia.
