A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Campsomeris tasmaniensis
Medium-large wasp, 25mm in length. Feeding on the pink flowers of Urena lobata. When it lands on the flower it leans right in to the base of the style to access its food and would curl its body up around the flower, perhaps for stability on the flower. It is large compared to the size of the flower.
