I'm very glad to help, Albena. You may want to verify the ID. I am not sure if their diet is restricted to pine trees or other plants as well. It certainly is a beauty. :-)

Many thanks J.! I haven't seen any of these beauties ever since. There are no pine trees around (I live right at the beach), I wonder what brought it here. Poor creature didn't look so well...
