Tylopilus lilac

'Tylopilus lilac'

Description:

About 120mm tall and 100mm across. Pale violet whole stipe and pileus. Snow white pore surface.

Habitat:

These found in hard ground in a lightly treed area with only eucalyptus around. Local national park.

Notes:

Not known or listed on ALA, Tylopilus plumbeoviolaceus is a northern hemisphere species with a mycorrhyzal association with oak.
