I think Laphria sp. as scientific name is safe! I will try to get a little bit closer, but this will take some more time, since I will meet some very important persons from Project Noah the next few days ;-)...

Asilidae, Robberflies. Laphria sp. Might be Laphria virginica or Laphria flavicollis.
