Garlic Mustard, češnjevka

Alliaria officinalis

Description:

It is a rankly scented with long-stalked, coarsely-toothed leaves, and small white flowers which are succeeded by stout long four-sided pods.

Habitat:

Can be found along roadsides, wasteplaces and wood edges. It has a Garlic smell.

Notes:

The young plant is edible and edible is ripe seeds, from which can be prepared mustard. Sometimes also used in folk medicine.
