The coolest looking mushroom! This I found in a nature preserve in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County, CA

Yes, Max, I removed it from that mission. After a little more research I are that this is a variety of Earthstar, or Myriostoma. They are quite fabulous in form, indeed.
Wow, really intriguing form! TerryBerry, since this is a fungi and not a plant, could you please remove it from the Toxic and Medicinal Plants mission?
Haven't seen a mushroom like that!!! Amazing! :)
