Savannah Sparrow

Passerculus sandwichensis beldingi

This is an endangered Belding's Savannah Sparrow. They're native to the coastal marsh and lagoons of southern California.

Coastal lagoon, pickleweed beds.

I've learned these guys don't have much fear of humans. This one let me get within minimum focusing distance (5ft on my camera)
