Mullein Wave Moth

Scopula marginepunctata

Description:

2 cm big from the side of the head and 1 cm large two posterior wings. Wikipedia says that it has the wingspan is 25 – 28 mm but I measured mine. The length of the forewings is 12–15 mm. The moth flies in two generations from mid May to September. The larva feed on yarrow and mugwort.

Habitat:

Found it home, there are few of them around the outside walls. It is found throughout Europe.
