Notes:

This leafy plant/weed was spotting growing in a vacant lot in Orem. It's leaves have sharp points around the edges. I think it's a Scotch Thistle in it's 1st or 2nd year.

Thanks VivBraznell! I think I found out what it is...pretty sure it's a Scotch Thistle in it's first or second year, but I wish it were an artichoke plant...artichoke dip is my very favorite. :)
