Jumping Spider, immature

Hentzia sp.

Description:

Small Jumping Spider. Pale coloration with bold dark markings on the dorsal abdomen. Red coloration around the eyes.

Habitat:

Woodlands and bordering fresh water river/marsh/pond area. Connetquot State Park, New York.

Notes:

One of two of these that I observed in this area. This one captured a tiny yellow larva for a meal while I was watching.
