Photo courtesy of a friend. He said he and his group found 8-14 dead octopuses March 24, 2014, on the coast of Washington State near Forks. (They were doing other work and were not able to dedicate time to this issue).

All the eyes of each octopus were missing. No chunks of flesh were missing otherwise. None of them had ink sorrounding them.
