Veiled chameleon (females)

Chamaeleo calyptratus

Description:

This are the most common chameleon in the pet triad. Chameleons in general are very complicated to take care of. On average in captivity they live around a year. Reptiles live longer then that depending on their size. I would not recommend as a pet, for so many people end up releasing them in the wild. That is really STUPID!!!

Habitat:

I took this at my school. Someone found it and took it home.
