Almost ran face first into this extremely small spider as it sat on the web that it built across the footpath we were on.


Seen in the foothills behind the village of Lempur, on the edge of the Kerinci Seblat National Park, Sumatra, Indonesia.

I think it is a species of Araneidae Backobourkia sp. But, good luch getting any closer than that.
