Ground Thrush

Zoothera sp.

Notes:

This blurry series of photos was taken through our windscreen when we saw this bird crossing the road in Lamington National Park. It is either a Bassian Thrush (Zoothera lunulata) or a Russet-tailed Thrush (Z. heinei). Both inhabit the area, and they look very similar - they were actually once considered to be the same species. I'd appreciate some input from a bird expert! I've never seen one of these before - apparently they are quite secretive.
