Native to Australia. Non-native. Introduced to Florida and Hawaii to control the aphid Sipha flava.
This lady bug was not part of the Butterfly World exhibits, it was wild. It flew down on a branch near me and then flew off.
You're welcome! They can be difficult but there is a good chance that people are around who might be able to help! It's a very interestingly patterned Lady Beetle.
