Lucanus cervus or Oryctes nasicornis

Description:

This was absolutely huge. I'm wondering if it's maybe a stag beetle larvae? We get lots of staggies in Suffolk but I've no idea what the larval stage look like. Any help identifying it?

I have genuinely dug up around 40 today. We have removed an old tree stump to make way for a new garage. Had to save them all and move them to the front garden.
