It's so seldom I see one of these little guys out in the woods. I was really excited to see one making a go of it in the wild and not urbanized, living off trash and human habitations.
The eastern chipmunk lives in deciduous wooded areas and urban parks throughout the eastern United States and southern Canada.
Spotted along the trail at the Allatoona Pass Battlefield.
