Split-gilled Mushroom

Schizophyllum commune

Description:

Small whitish caps with fringed bords, 2 to 5 cm across. As they grew older, they become grey brown. Underneath, the gills are white at first, becoming pinkish as the fruitbody grew.

Habitat:

Seen growing in clusters on a fallen log, inn lowland mixed forest in protected marshy area of Prodon.
