Cedar Waxwing

Bombycilla cedrorum

Description:

A medium sized, soft gray/brown bird with red and yellow accents on the wings/tail feathers.

Habitat:

Along river edges in wooded areas.

Notes:

I enjoyed watching a large group of hungry Cedar Waxwings as they swooped down by the James River to feast on flying insects.
