Northern Mockingbird

Mimus polyglottos

Description:

The Northern Mockingbird is the only mockingbird commonly found in North America. This bird is mainly a permanent resident, but northern birds may move south during harsh weather.

Habitat:

Orange groves.

Notes:

This guy has been singing for weeks now. So far as I can tell, he hasn't succeeded in finding/attracting a mate.
