Northern Shoveler duck spotted in Ushiku, Japan. Similar marking to a mallard... but with a spoon-shaped bill.
Both photos are of the same duck, not sure why the lighting looks so different.
The id is right because they are also called spoonbill duck. Nice picture of a colorful duck.
