It grows to 20 meters tall with a short trunk. The bloom time is in late spring to early summer. The Osage oranges fruit is called a horse apple. Horse apples can cause nusea for humans if digested. They live for a long time.
There is a wide variety if habitats that are home if the Osage orange.
