You might want to add in the description that these are the 'operculums' from the tapestry turban mollusk. Which is the part of the shell used to block off the opening. Operculums are a very common beach find anywhere there are mollusks in the tidal zone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operculum_%...
