You found one!! Love the series, Em! These guys are so beautiful in their breeding colors! I found a whole flock of them in CA in January...black and white, but hundreds!!

Agreed! This is why I love PN! It makes me stop to appreciate all different kinds of animals! I had never noticed avocets in Colorado before! I will be looking for them from this point on!
