Description:

Tessaratomidae Tessaratomids resemble large stink bugs (Pentatomidae) and are sometimes quite colorful. Their nymphal forms too are often very colorful also and usually bear little resemblance to the adult.

All the Tessaratomids are large. This one was about 25mm in length. This individual, http://www.flickr.com/photos/itchydogima..., remains the largest I have seen at 30mmx15mm.
