Argiope sp
half green half black abdomen, possibly a new species
tropical rainforest
Cool spider spotted in Tawau hills park.
Thanks bayucca, Chun, Paul, Alan and dotun. Sorry Ava, I've exceeded my mission allowance.
Writing spider (Argiope sp.)
The same or similar species is pictures here-http://jungle-asia.com/photo.php?iid=846...Doesn't help with identification though.
Please consider adding this spotting to the Animal Architecture mission at http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8082...
Cracking find and image ,no help with ID ,I'm afraid .
It is most likely to be a new species of Argiope spider.
Looks like an Argiope sp.???
