Description:

This large bird is about 56 cm (22 in) in length and is mostly brown/gray with a darker tail. They have loud calls that mimic their name.

Habitat:

Scrub/thorn forests.

Notes:

I love listening to these birds "chuckling" in the trees. They remind me of pheasants, except these graceful birds run through the trees instead of on the ground. They are extraordinary athletes...
