Bobtail Squid - pair

Euprymna sp

Euprymna is a genus of bobtail squid comprising around ten species. This one is the smaller among the Bobtail squid family, less than 1 cm in size. Nocturnal creatures, they come out at night to feed among tiny shrimps and krills.

Shallow waters among sandy and sea grass bottom.

Due to its tiny size, often mistaken as baby/juveniles of Squids or Cuttlefish, but this pair of less than 1 cm is already adult as can be seen here, mating.
