Long-legged fly

Condylostylus sp. (caudatus group)

Description:

A small, thin, metallic-colored fly with long legs. The unmarked wings and hairs at the end of the abdomen (barely visible in the first picture) place this fly in the caudatus group of genus Condystylus.

Notes:

I saw several of these hanging around on the leaves of Japanese honeysuckle.
