Spotting

Description:

Dried out shelf fungi found on the underside of a fallen tree.

Habitat:

Riverside Park, close to the shore of the Grand River.

Notes:

I thought it may have been a jelly or wood ear fungi, but the presence of stems and gills disproves that. Could be a Flammulina, but it's hard to tell (thanks Randy!) .

Maybe a really old Flammulina, just a guess.
