Description:

Small weevil of 5 mm in length, dark brown with deep orange pits and ridges on the integument, as well as very small hairs. The proboscis is slightly widened at the tip. The antennae and tarsi are orange. Family Curculionidae, subfamily Molytinae.

Habitat:

Under a light at night, semi-rural area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico 2,200 meters.
