I too had not really taken that much notice of their breast colour, even though I see them up close often. That's why I checked.
I'm sure that's correct Kerry. I was only making a comment about how I'd never gotten close enough to one to see their breast color was different from their body color.
My bird book does mention cinnamon on the breast Lori.
Nice. I hardly ever get to see one close up. I didn't realize they are russet colored underneath.
