Narrow-waisted Sac Spider

Utivarachna fukasawana

Description:

Looks like a nocturnal species of Sac Spider waiting for dinner. This species is fairly common, usually found inside it's silken retreat tent during the day time. It's narrow long "waist" between it's head and abdomen is distinctive.

Habitat:

Plant leaves along a forest trail in Tawau Hills Park, Tawau, Sabah.

Notes:

>>>Map accuracy: 200m diameter. Spotted this during a night walk with Dan in one of the forest trails.
