Eastern Garter Snakes mating

Thamnophis sirtalis

Description:

Mating/coupling snakes. Female (larger) 18-22 inches long at least. Male (smaller) 14 inches.

Habitat:

Spring fed brook (bank) in open woodlands

Notes:

It really looked like there were more than 2 snakes curled up. I only stayed a very short time. I did not want to disturb them. I want to see those babies. Macro distant shot!
