Tropical Almond

Terminalia catappa

Description:

In my town, this is a famous tree. Always heard about it, but I didn't know it was real. Today I was on a mission, and the spotted. Possibly a bird crapped a seed that ended up developing in the light pole.

Habitat:

I found this specimen in a region of transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.
