The adult has a flat, brown body around 3 cm long, including the legs it is 10 cm. The carapace behind the eyes has a white band and the legs has bristles marked with a black dot.

Thanks for the comments guys! Huntsman spiders have 8 eyes. The eyes on each side in the top row are not so visible in this picture.

My student says, " I love the background in the picture". He also said, " It looks like it has six eyes". (Great learning moment!)
