Description:

This small warbler has a reddish cap, yellow around eyes, brown back and a yellow patch below the tail. Flanks are sometimes lightly streaked.

Habitat:

This warbler nests in bogs, open boreal coniferous forest, and other areas with scattered trees and heavy undergrowth. Often near water.
