Hyoseris frutescens

Description:

A small shrub belonging to the daisy family. It grows up to 30cm in height with robust, woody, densely branched habit. It has fleshy, lobed evergreen leaves and a strong branched root-stock. It is endemic to the Maltese islands.

Habitat:

Found on cliff plateau, rubble walls and close to the sea.
